We are looking for someone with vision and research capability to join our Teaching and Learning Academic Group within the School of Education. As Lecturer in Education, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the School, Faculty and University, and contribute to leadership, as appropriate to your grade, in the field of education.

You will teach on our undergraduate programme in Education, and you will contribute to our School Centred Initial Teacher Training PGCE work, providing specialist input in either Primary English or Primary Mathematics. You will teach on other programmes within the School depending on your specialisms.

You will join a team who work closely with primary and secondary schools to provide initial teacher training and CPD, and who co-research with school-based partners. You will take forward this strand of research and contribute to developing and consolidating our research links with schools.With a doctorate in the field of Education or a related discipline you will have a clear research agenda that enhances and contributes to growing the national and international profile of the School and a proven record of high-quality teaching in a University environment.
