Are you looking for a challenging role which enables you to work across a diverse range of activities and with a variety of people to support clinical research?

 

You will provide high quality administrative support for the Department of Biomedical Imaging Science, in particular supporting the research activity funded in Professor Plein’s British Heart Foundation (BHF) Chair and programme grant award. Your responsibilties will include the coordination of research projects and managing research activity in the Department and its three main imaging facilities, the experimental Imaging Centre (ePIC), the Advanced Imaging Centre (AIC) and the Cardiac MRI facility. You will work with a team of basic scientists, physicists and clinicians and support their diverse activities. You will also help coordinate key meetings and events and manage the facilities’ diary booking systems.You will have experience of successful project management and preferably this would be in an academic, healthcare or clinical environment. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area (or have equivalent experience), possess excellent interpersonal skills and have proven experience of working effectively as both part of a team and independently.
