    The Division is comprised of five key portfolio areas led by: the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning); Pro Vice-Chancellor (International); Dean, Indigenous Research and Education Strategy; University Librarian and the Executive Director, Division of Academic and Student Engagement.

    The Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) portfolio area provides leadership in achieving the University’s strategic goals, particularly in relation to facilitating the development of strategic alliances and collaborative agreements with international partners, including articulation, exchange and off-shore teaching arrangements, developing international policy, fostering student global mobility and providing advice and support for internationalisation initiatives across the University

    The Study Abroad & Exchange Program Advisor is responsible for the administration of the Inbound Study Abroad and Exchange Program including processing of applications, the corresponding data entry into internal and external (government) systems and liaison with applicants, 3rd party providers, agents and/or partner institutions and Faculty staff where appropriate.  This role involves the day to day administration of the program, including responding to email enquiries, the coordination of support events, accommodation and the distribution of transcripts. It also includes administration of marketing initiatives such as the creation and distribution of marketing material. The role is also designed to assist the Outbound mobility team with administrative and project work.

     

    Salary:

    (HEO4) $61,735 - $67,704 per annum.

     

    Superannuation:

    An employer contribution 17% may apply.

     

    Term of position:

    This continuing position is available immediately.

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

    • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and service improvement.
    • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated computing skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with administrative systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure, manage time and set priorities with a strong attention to detail.
    • Experience in a higher education environment or international education environment.

     

    Qualifications         

    • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
