Business Development Officer

Do you have experience of working in or managing clinical trials?

Do you have strong communication skills and experience of working and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders?

Working within the NIHR Clinical Research Network, you will be an integral part of the Business Development and Marketing Directorate, working on key projects and initiatives to drive growth.

A key part of the role will include managing and promoting the Alliance programme to Life Sciences companies, working closely with Specialty Cluster Offices and their National Specialty Leads. Working closely with wider NIHR Research Delivery sites, you will ensure that the defined Alliance timelines are met with regards protocol development, completion of contracts and study activation.You will possess excellent communication skills and have experience of working with people at different levels. With strong organisational and problem solving skills, you will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise and understandable format for a wide variety of audiences. The role will involve working on key business development projects to create offers relevant to the life sciences industry, and promoting those externally.
