Job Details
My client offers a crucial service to the chemical industry, helping to pass along the information on how to safe handle chemicals to the industry in a clear and standardized way. For years they have outsourced the technical writing to a consultancy, but due to modernization they are looking for in house people to fill this role. This means that you will be the first person in the team filling this role, giving you a lot of autonomy and decision making freedom to shape the role yourself.
On a daily basis you will be gathering information about a variety of chemical substances from a variety of databases, SDS'es and information sources. Afterwards you will combine them in one specific piece of information that can be used in the chemical industry. Really focussing as the chemical specialist in this aspect.
Further the company will be looking at further innovations and developments in delivering this message to the industry, giving you the chance to think strategic with the business and play and active part in the growth of my client.
To be successful:
* Chemical background
* Proven experience with SDS'es
* Knowledge with classifying substances in different substance categories
* Fluency in Dutch or English
* Living in Delft/Rijswijk area or willing to relocate
