Job Details
My client is a leading chemical company, active in specialty raw materials sector. Due to expansion of the team they are looking for a strategic marketing specialist to help and boost the business forward. Working as a strategic marketing specialist you will be working close with R&D and the innovation team, linking new projects to actual needs on the market. In case the market changes during the innovation process, you will be the one highlighting this to the R&D/Sales team.
As this is a new position in the team, you will be the first person to fill this role, giving you a lot of autonomy and decision making freedom to shape the scope of this role. Further you are responsible for the whole EMEA region, giving you exposure with multiple markets, making it a varied and challenging role. The turnover of the portfolio you work with is over 200 million dollars a year!
To be successful
* Marketing degree
* Strategic Marketing Experience, no commercial marketing experience
* At least 5 years of experience working for a chemical raw material manufacturer
* Fluency in English
* Background in new product innovations
* Living in the Brussels area or willing to relocate
