The role

This position will provide you an opportunity to work with a newly formed team which is involved in philanthropy, alumni and industry engagement and strategic event programming.

The successful appointee will be responsible for managing travel and accommodation bookings for the team, payment approvals, reconciliation of expenses and organising team meetings. In addition to providing general support to the team, you will draft correspondence, handle telephone and email enquiries, track budgets, draft agendas and record minutes for meetings.

 

The person

  • You will ideally have relevant work experience in a similar role; this should include providing high level administrative support in a team environment and ensuring the effective coordination of all activities within the team.
  • You will have some ability with finance and budget administration and be proficient in a wide range of computer applications particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build and maintain strong working relationships.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing position at a HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597 - $72,348 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,579 - $84,648 p.a.).
