Do you have experience leading professional software development projects?

Are you interested in medical imaging, image processing or visualisation software?

Are you keen to work with partners in academia and private sector to accelerate the translation of promising research into patient benefit?

As a Software Engineer you will lead on the development of a software framework for rapid prototyping of medical imaging applications, with the aim of speeding up the clinical translation of novel cutting-edge imaging methods.

You will work closely with scientists, clinicians, SME’s and the lead of the Leeds Imaging Biomarkers Group (Steven Sourbron) to ensure software development and the delivery of projects are aligned with scientific needs.

You will support collaborating SME’s in the use of the new platform for the development of dedicated software and procedures to support commercial services for preclinical and clinical imaging in drug development or clinical trials and will also use your knowledge and experience to help shape the strategic long-term plan for software development and data management within the Leeds Imaging Biomarker Group.

You will be based in the Leeds Imaging Biomarkers Group (www.imagingbiomarkers.org) and work closely with researchers in the group, collaborators in two SME’s (www.bioxydyn.com and www.antarosmedical.com), and several industry partners.
