Job Details

Are you a Pharmacovigilance Officer looking to work in a very niche and fascinating therapy area? Check out the advert below to find out more!

My client is looking for a pharmacovigilance officer to join their niche therapy project to advise on PV activities in relation to any and all regulatory requirements. Using your experience within the industry you will help support the GCP training and provide input for new PV databases at the meantime ensuring all case reviewing is completed, complete study specific reports and monitor for any safety issues.

This is a role which would certainly allow you to work in many different elements of Pharmacovigilance, also not being a Big pharma company you will be allowed more freedom to really show your skills tot he team and be more of a focal point as apposed to one in a crowd. This could certainly be a stepping stone to more senior PV role, having the input on Database design, supporting training systems are all responsibilities you don't find so often in pharma and having this on your profile will set you apart.

The role is part time for fixed 3 year period, so would fit perfectly for professionals with other commitments outside of their work lives. Based in Liverpool you will also have the chance to work in one of the most vibrant cities in the UK, the base of operations are very close to a major national rail station and again easily accessible by local public transport.

To be eligable to apply for this role the following must be evident:

  • A degree in Pharmacy or relevant Life Science
  • Experience in a Pharmacovigilance/Clinical Trial Environment
  • Formal training in Pharmacovigilance would be an advantage

If you want to work in the niche field of tropical medicines and want to push your PV career further than you could in pharmaceutical companies, send your most up to date CV to myself Greg Collins at G.Collins@nonstop-recruitment.com. Please include in the subject line of the email 'Pharmacovigilance - Liverpool.'
