Job Details
To make an electronic transcription of the undertext of Codex Zacynthius
To participate in the analysis of Codex Zacynthius, including contributing to project publications, conference presentations and the exhibition
- A doctorate in New Testament or Early Christianity
- Excellent ability in Koine Greek
- Experience of working with New Testament manuscripts
- Experience of working with electronic editing tools and digital corpora
- Ability to work to an exceptional level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Good time management skills and the ability to co-ordinate own work with others to avoid conflict or duplication of effort
To create and contribute to the creation of knowledge by undertaking a specified range of activities as part of the AHRC-funding Codex Zacynthius research project.
