    The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is one of five faculties at the University of Adelaide. Comprised of five schools and a number of disciplines, research centres and institutes, the faculty is focused on education excellence and innovative research in the health sciences.

    The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) which sits within the School of Public Health, is an international research and development agency with over 40 staff in its headquarters in Adelaide and more than 1500 researchers located in collaborating centres in UK, Europe, USA, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. With almost 80 Centres and groups, servicing over 90 countries, the Joanna Briggs Institute is a recognised global leader in evidence-based healthcare.

    In this role, you will provide assistance in managing and supporting content development requirements within the Implementation Science team, including evidence summaries, recommended practices and other forms of evidence-based content as well as ensuring new content is created as required.

    Salary: (HEO4) $61,735 to $67,704 per annum

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies

    Term of position: This fixed term contract is available immediately until December 2018.

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in performing literature reviews
    • Proficiency with computer software including MS Office and bibliographic citation software such as Endnote
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
    • Knowledge of evidence based healthcare and systematic reviews
    • Proficiency with conducting searches of bibliographic databases such as PubMed, EMBASE etc
