Executive Assistant

The School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences is one of the largest Schools of this type in Australia with over 40 full-time academic staff members who are widely published internationally and have extensive research backgrounds. The School has an established reputation for research and teaching excellence and is extremely well positioned to foster collaborative research and training opportunities.

 

The role

The Executive Assistant provides a high level of administrative and project support to the Head of School and the Head of School’s Office. The role is key in assisting in the management of the School, and is responsible for a range of activities related to the efficient operation of the Head of School’s office and the School in general.

 

The person

Applicants should have a sound & broad knowledge of the University’s or a similar large organisation’s administrative systems, procedures and practices or an ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge. You will be able to provide a high standard of confidential administrative and secretarial support, underpinned by excellent organisational skill and computer proficiency and an ability to ensure that deadlines are met.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

 

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597 - $72,348, p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,579 - $84,648 p.a.).
