Job Details

Are you an enthusiastic and proactive executive or personal assistant, looking for a challenging and varied role?

The Faculty of Engineering is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Services Administrator (STSA) to provide executive and administrative assistance to the Faculty Technical Services Manager and their team of four Technical Managers.

The STSA will need strong organisational, administrative and communication skills and have experience of prioritising work within a busy office environment whilst managing the diaries of a senior manager and their staff. You will be happy to take on and run your own projects in new areas whilst supporting the day-to-day running of Technical Services. Excellent IT skills and experience of software packages such as Word and Excel are essential. Previous PA experience in an engineering or scientific environment would be an advantage, as would experience of office management.

The busy and expanding Faculty Technical Services team has a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and is an exciting place in which to work. The post would be suitable for an experienced, proactive PA, with a strong commitment to providing a high-quality service to both staff and students.

The vacancy is being offered as a full time, open-ended post. Interviews will be held shortly after the closing date.

Informal enquiries may be made to: Greg Kemble, Faculty Technical Services Manager, greg.kemble@bristol.ac.uk
