Clinical Teaching Fellow/Dental Examiner in Restorative Dentistry

This is a unique opportunity for your development as a clinical teacher and dental examiner. With a dental qualification, full GDC registration and relevant foundation/general professional training or equivalent you must be capable of contributing across the broad range of restorative clinical disciplines within undergraduate dental education.

You will contribute to the maintenance and further development of excellence in the quality of education within the School of Dentistry and at the designated outreach clinical centres. Responsibilities will include both pre-clinical and clinical supervision of students.You will also be involved in the planning and collection of research data from clinical trial participants including data on dental caries, plaque and gingivitis. You may already have some experience of working as a dental examiner and will collaborate with other members of the project team, the principal investigators, trial unit, research nurse and administrators.This post will suit enthusiastic clinicians with an interest in dental education and research, who wish to explore the potential for an academic career in clinical dentistry.
