Postdoctoral researcher- Molecular and Genetic Cardiovascular Pathophysiology

The CNIC Foundation has been conceived to develop a research of excellence, competitive and of international relevance in relation to cardiovascular diseases. The Foundation has a 24,000 m2 research center, located in Madrid, with more than 6,000 m2 for laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment.
The selected candidate will work at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research, within the Laboratory of Molecular and Genetic Cardiovascular Pathophysiology led by Dr. Vicente Andrés.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD title
• Have publications as first author in international peer-reviewed journal
• Two reference letters (or contact details of referees to request references)

VALUABLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in molecular and cellular mechanisms of cardiovascular disease and aging
• Experience in the management and characterization of genetically modified murine models
• Experience in writing scientific articles, animal and research projects
• High level of English (both spoken and written)
