    The Division of Academic and Student Engagement drives the achievement of the University's strategic goals in relation to learning and teaching. This includes ensuring that students have a quality experience and investing in the ongoing professional development of academic staff.

    The Division is comprised of five key portfolio areas led by: the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning); Pro Vice-Chancellor (International); Dean, Indigenous Research and Education Strategy; University Librarian and the Executive Director, Division of Academic and Student Engagement.

    The Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) portfolio area provides leadership in achieving the University’s strategic goals, particularly in relation to facilitating the development of strategic alliances and collaborative agreements with international partners, including articulation, exchange and off-shore teaching arrangements, developing international policy, fostering student global mobility and providing advice and support for internationalisation initiatives across the University

    Study Overseas is part of Global Engagement and is responsible for administrating overseas short programs.

    This role, working under general direction, is responsible for the administration of short program opportunities for University of Adelaide students. This includes providing advice to students regarding overseas study opportunities, administration support to the short programs coordinator, and general administration support to both the outbound and inbound overseas study teams.

    Salary: (HEO4) $61,735 - $67,704FTE per annum, pro-rata at 0.8FTE

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies

    Term of position:  This fixed-term part-time contract is available immediately for 12 months at 0.8FTE

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

    1. Demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure, manage time and set priorities with a strong attention to detail.
    2. Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and service improvement.
    3. Demonstrated ability to follow processes per written procedures or training.
    4. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
