Job Details

The majority of time will be spent conducting novel research in our state of art ultrafast laser laboratory. The applicant should demonstrate experience working with ultrafast laser systems and setting up complex optical experiments. You will hold a PhD* or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Physics or Electronic and Optical Engineering, have good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as a part of a team on a challenging project.

The post-doctoral position is available for one year from May 2018.

*Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
