Develop Social Workers in a New Service

A London based Local Authority which has recently transitioned to an all age service is seeking an experienced practitioner to help develop junior colleagues within the team:

This is an excellent opportunity for practitioners to use their experience to help develop and shape a new service which works with both children and adults. The team is an all age disabilities service so cases are complex in nature and due to the diversity of the population within the local authority, social workers in the team will work with an extremely broad range of people - something which is not available in other regions of the capital.

This role predominantly focuses on the development of the service and practitioner within the team. Being a subject matter expert you will be providing support and guidance to junior colleagues helping them with their cases and their personal development. You will also be required to carry an extremely caseloads which you will use to demonstrate correct practice for junior colleagues

To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience working with Children with Disabilities. Those candidates who are also able to demonstrate experience of working with adults are highly sought after.
