    The Information Technology and Digital Services branch is part of the Division of University Operations, which provides technology capabilities to support the University's teaching and research objectives and business activities. The branch services the vast University community through four core services: IT Business Engagement, IT Programs and Digital Solutions Delivery, IT Operations and Digital Services, and IT Strategy Planning and Governance.

    The Change Manager is responsible for ensuring sound change management processes are applied to the assigned projects in a manner commensurate with the needs of the projects, minimising negative business impact and enhancing the realisation of business benefits. This role will work alongside project teams, senior leaders and business champions to gain the commitment of staff in the adoption of new processes and systems.

    Salary: (HEO9) $111,077 to $118,862 per annum.

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of up to 17% may apply.

    Term of position: This fixed term position is available immediately for a 2 year period.

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

    1. Experience managing change management activities on technology and people change projects.
    2. Demonstrate understanding of Change Management principles, frameworks and methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Lean Change, Kotter, Bridges, Kubler-Ross, Lewin.
    3. Sound project and time management skills and the ability to successfully cope with competing work pressures and deadlines.
    4. Demonstrated experience in building collaborative working relationships with colleagues, project stakeholders, business partners and customers.
    5. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders such as Directors, Associate Directors and Managers.
    6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with initiative, set priorities and balance the demands of a complex working environment.
    7. Understanding of learning environments in the Higher Education sector and the modern delivery of student services (desirable)
