As the Deputy Director, Strategy & Development, you will be a key member of the OU in Wales’ senior team as we work together to ensure that a growing number of learners in Wales recognise and enjoy the benefits of part time distance learning with the Open University.

Your focus will be to provide leadership to The Open University in Wales’ strategic planning, external engagement, communication, marketing and business development activities, and you will lead a small team promoting the work of The Open University in Wales and securing opportunities to grow the University’s reach and impact.

You will need to possess an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) along with evidence of up-to-date engagement with continuing professional development activities relevant to the role. A postgraduate qualification in a discipline relevant to the role is desirable.

Byddwch yn canolbwyntio ar ddarparu arweiniad yng ngweithgarwch cynllunio strategol, ymgysylltu allanol, cyfathrebu, marchnata a datblygu busnes y Brifysgol Agored yng Nghymru, a byddwch yn arweiniad tîm bach sy’n hyrwyddo gwaith y Brifysgol Agored yng Nghymru a sicrhau cyfleoedd i gynyddu cyrhaeddiad ac effaith y Brifysgol.

Bydd angen i chi feddu ar radd israddedig (neu gyfatebol) ynghyd â thystiolaeth o ymgysylltu diweddar gyda gweithgareddau datblygiad proffesiynol parhaus sy’n berthnasol i’r briod rôl. Mae cymhwyster ôl-radd mewn disgyblaeth berthnasol i’r rôl yn ddymunol.
