Purchaser - Raw Chemical Materials - Growing Team - Munich

I am currently working on a great position with international organisation who is expanding their procurement department across the Globe. Due to new management the current Head of Procurement is in looking for an experienced and purchaser to join the growing team. Due to expansion my client is planning on opening a number of sites across the Globe, which means more production and more buying. You will be joining at a time where the procurement department is growing at an exceptional rate and the management team are in need of future leaders.

My client offer a great environment to work in, with a down to earth atmosphere and freedom to implement new changes. This is great for someone who likes to have a hands on approach in the company they work in, with the chance to make quick decisions and drive processes with passion. You will mainly be responsible for the plastic category, however this is not limited and you will also be involved in other business sectors that they operate in.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing the procurement department
  • Responsible for global spend
  • Sourcing for new suppliers
  • Responsible for all raw chemical materials
  • Process Improvement

To be successful candidate must have:

  • 2+ years strategic purchasing experience
  • Experience working in the chemical sector
  • Purchasing of raw chemical materials
  • Fluent in German & English
