The project
The project aims to elucidate mechanisms of inflammation in metabolic disease focused on the intestinal immunity.
- Keywords: obesity, metabolic disease, inflammation, macrophages, mucosal immunity
Your position
- Master thesis about 1 year (starting as soon as possible)
- Planning, design and evaluation of experiments
- Learning multiple techniques: handling rodents (mice), qPCR, ELISA, cell culture, flow cytometry (FACS), histology
Your profile
- Highly motivated master student in Biology (or MD) searching for a thesis
- Quantitative background (biology, biomedical research)
- Solid skills in laboratory work and willing to do in vivo experiments
- Basic knowledge of immunology and the immune system
- Interest in expanding knowledge of biomedical science and translational diabetes research
