A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment service on a locum basis

This is an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker who is experienced to work independently and able to work autonomously. The post offers flexible working and the opportunity to work from home. There isn't any micro managing and Social Workers who are confident are able to get on with their cases. Although there staff in the team enjoy a good deal of autonomy, managers are on hand to provide supervision and any informal supervision when necessary. Additionally all staff benefit from dedicate supervision time and the Authority operate a "buddy" system meaning there is always a senior manager on hand for support and guidance.

The council offices are modern and there is an open seating plan where senior managers are sitting beside front line staff, making them accessible to anyone who may need any guidance or further support.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience within an Assessment team.
