A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Child Protection services. This is a Local Authority which is currently going through an improvement journey and is therefore looking for a Social Worker that is able to contribute to further development

This is an assignment ideal for those candidates who are keen to be a part of an organisations development. The Local Authority have created a clear line of sight from senior managers through to front line staff so are very responsive to the suggestions and recommendations given by front line staff to help facilitate to development of services. Furthermore Senior managers are situated in the same open office as all other staff and easily accessible should you require support or guidance. Ultimately you will have a significant role in the development of the service.

Confident Social Workers are highly sought after and in return the Local Authority are offering a flexible approach to work with a great deal of autonomous working. Social Workers are not at all micro managed and are left to their own devices to organise their diary. However that being said managers are always on hand for support or supervision.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience within a Child Protection service.
