I am working closely with an established insurance company in Switzerland who are exploring new effective ways to transform the business. In tandem with these new explorations, a new Digital Transformation team is being created to add value to the business across various areas.

My client is looking for a passionate Data Scientist who can join their team and contribute in their drive towards success. You will be joining a mixed team of 5 people, Software Developers and Data Scientists. Within the Data Science team you will be contributing to the Business Transformation of Life Insurance through the use of Data Science. This means that the insights and analyses that you will be working on will have a large impact on the business.

The Role
* To design and develop data science algorithms applied to Life Insurance data
* To create and maintain predictive models
* To perform data analysis to derive insight.
* Employ Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Methods

This team is a new addition to the life insurance area of the company so you will have the unique situation of working in a start up environment but in an established company, giving you the benefits of both.

Requirements
* Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
* Passion for analytics and Machine Learning, Text mining, Natural Language processing etc.
* A strong statistics or artificial intelligence background AND in the past few years gained a passion for software development and the more computational aspects of statistical learning
* Innovative personality
