Job Details
My client is a manufacturer for crop protection products. They have been expanding heavily for the last couple of years and they are currently looking for extra support on the supply chain department. As the company is manufacturing through Toll manufacturers you have a chance to use your chemistry degree, whilst working in a supply chain role.
This is a unique combination, where you will fill a crucial role in the team:
* With your chemical knowledge you will be responsible to check if the formulations from the toll manufacturers are compliant with the product registrations of the company
* You will do forecasting and make sure that production meets demand. Due to fluctuating demand, you will need good planning skills to make sure the supply meets demand, making it a challenging a versatile role
* You will interact with many different departments in the company (Registration, customer service, logistics, legal, supply chain and label)
* You will have international contact with multiple toll manufacturers world wide, giving you the chance to expand your international network.
As you are the only person in the company filling this specific role, you will have a lot of decision making freedom and autonomy to shape the future of this role. On top of that you will get more and more responsibilities as your future manager is looking to delegate some of his task to the new person joining the team, allowing you to expand your skillset.
To be successful:
* Chemistry degree
* Initial supply chain experience in a chemical company
* Strong communication skills
* Willingness to learn
* Good coordinating skills
* Valid EU passport
* Living in the Dendermonde area or willing to relocate
