Job Details
Physiotherapy Department at the Aga Khan University Hospital provides comprehensive services to assist adults and children in overcoming physical, handicaps. neurological and cognitive impairments and disabilities. Trainee Occupational Therapy Programme at AKUH is unique in a sense that it helps to equip fresh graduates for initiating and establishing their careers in Occupational Therapy. The one year programme offers didactics and hands-on occupational therapy experience in the areas like pediatric rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation and advance rehabilitation etc.
Full time employment may be offered upon successful completion of the traineeship programme and availability of the vacant position.

Responsibilities
You will be provided exposure in:
- Assisting patients with physical problems caused by illnesses, disabilities and injuries.
- Assisting in evaluation and formulating occupational therapy treatment plan.
- Consulting and collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals in providing occupational therapy treatments.
- Providing quality occupational therapy treatment to the highest possible levels.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment interventions and home exercises.
- Complying with organizational policies and standards of quality care.
- Maintaining and updating patient's records and documentation.
Requirements
You should have completed or are in the final year of Bachelors of Occupational Therapy from a recognized University.
