Trainee Radiographer

Radiology Department at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is equipped with the latest technologies for X-rays, ultrasound and special procedures for diagnosis. Trainee Radiographer is a 2 year traineeship programme which develops fresh graduates in the technologically advanced field of imaging and radiography.

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to learn and work on the most advanced general Radiography Imaging Systems including Computed & Digital Radiography. You will also be oriented in MRI (1.5 & 3-Tesla machines), CT (64 slice and new state-of-the-art 640 Slice), Vascular Intervention Radiology, PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine. You will attend didactic session and rotate in modalities as per schedule. You will also observe and perform routine procedures under supervision as part of your learning.

Selected trainees will be given monthly stipend and may be offered full-time employment opportunities upon successful completion of the traineeship programme and availability of the vacant position. 

Requirements

You must have:

• BSc. with Matriculation in Science stream and subjects should include Biology.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate computer based technology and should possess basic computer skills.
