Senior Manager/Associate Director supply chain, fast growing pharma, highly successful company with significant plans for growth for 2018/19 *Role update, now looking at Snr Manager/AD level

Superb opportunity to join a well financed and highly successful pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. We are looking for an experienced pharma supply chain professional to join a growing team looking at setup of global supply chain operations including both in the EU and US. The key to this role is we are looking for someone who is both hands on in pharma supply chain (dealing with CMOs, working with quality) while also having strong commercial and strategic ability. This is important as the company are still small and are rapidly expanding.

In regards to the client, this is a company I have worked with for over 5 years in Switzerland. What I can say is that they have good retention, people are rewarded well (promotions for example) and they really do mean business. It is one of the most commercially savvy companies in Europe. It's fantastic for someone who is growing tired of big pharma to make the leap over into a very professional and driven team. It's in addition excellent for people who are genuinely career driven, you can often learn more in one year here than you could in 3 years in larger pharma and you can work closely with very senior industry figures.

Key responsibilities:
* Leading collaborations with CMOs and other suppliers
* Develop critical supply plans for key portfolio products
* Work across internal teams including project management, regulatory and quality
* Help with new product on-boarding's
* Creation of new SOPs and mentoring of junior team members

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical supply chains (we cannot consider Medtech/Food/Chemical experience)
• Experience in CMO management and collaborations
• End to end supply chain experience
• At least 5 years experience in Pharmaceuticals
• Commercial and flexible mind set
• Critically, we look for people who want to work 'with' the company, not 'for' the company. This role will be demanding and we look for someone who is bought into long term prospects. This is not your standard position!
