Manage a Small team of Experienced Social Workers

A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join their Children with Disabilities service.

Over the course of the last year the Local Authority has made massive strides and have managed to reduce average caseloads to some of the lowest in the country. Furthermore there is more focus around having the time to develop relationships with children and their families in order to provide more effective solutions.

As a Team Manager you will be leading a small unit of 5 staff, where you will be able to provide more focused leadership and be able to support your team more effectively. The Local Authority provides all staff with protected reflective supervision time where you will receive support from your manager and will also be able to use to empower your team.

As the authority develops further it is looking for managers who are able to contribute to the development of its services and thus are looking for confident individuals who are able to bring their ideas to the table to help shape the future of the service. As a a manager with the service you will have access to a number of development tools run by external institutions giving you the opportunity to take the next step in your career.

To be considered for this post you should have managed a front line team within a statutory setting.
