Job Details
The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences delivers practical solutions to the complex issues that affect our physical environment and how we interact with it. Our interconnected teams of earth scientists, physical and social scientists, environmental management specialists, health and safety experts, and urban planners work together to address the increasingly critical global challenges of a growing population, climate change, urbanisation, food security, conservation and natural resource management. The role
The ideal candidate will have teaching and research interests in environmental and planning regulation and policy. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in environmental and planning regulation/law and policy, develop a successful research program, and supervise research higher degree students.
The person
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, demonstrated experience, and a track record of high quality research. You should also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly productive research and teaching career in the area of environmental and planning regulation and policy.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level B or C. The remuneration package will be in the below ranges, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%.
- Level B will be in the range of $92,142.74 - $109,419.20 p.a., (total package will be in the range of $107,807.01 - $128,020.46);
- Level C will be in the range of $112,874.46 - $130,150.91 p.a., (total package will be in the range of $132,063.12 - $152, 276.56 p.a.).
