Senior Manager, Prospect Research

The Aga Khan University is looking to recruit a Senior Manager, Prospect Research and Portfolio Management, based at its offices in London. 

The University is an international higher education institution working towards development of human capacities through the discovery and dissemination of knowledge and application through service. It currently offers programmes and services in six countries including teaching hospitals in Pakistan and East Africa, Schools of Nursing and Midwifery, Medical Colleges, Institutes for Educational Development, the Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations, a Graduate School of Media and Communication, the East African Institute and the Institute for the Study of Human Development.

This is a new role within the University’s Office for Resource Development that has global responsibility for fundraising. The post-holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures for prospect research and portfolio management. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in prospect research and portfolio management at a senior level, and with international institutions/projects. The inpidual must have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including a senior leadership team based across different geographical locations. S/he will work with an international team of fundraisers and will manage a small team of regional Prospect Researchers. The inpidual will be required to travel occasionally to the University campuses and other locations.
