Job Details

Are you interested in making a contribution to the employability agenda?

Do you want to play a part in improving the employability of students, particularly those with multiple dimensions of disadvantage?

Do you have experience of working with students from diverse backgrounds and delivering employability information and advice?

You will be involved in work to improve the career readiness of students who are under represented at the University and/or who may have protected characteristics, contributing to the development and implementation of the University’s Access Agreement. You will map current employability interventions and engagement and work with colleagues to plan how best to communicate the offer and increase engagement. Using your experience of delivering projects to deadlines and demonstrating impact, you will also organise and deliver interventions to address the various aspects of social mobility, diversity and inclusion, monitor the progress of students taking part and evaluate the impact. The interventions will be designed to engage students from the first year onwards in their career planning. You will need excellent communication skills in order to review written communications, systems and websites and support colleagues to ensure that good practice is embedded and engaging.
