    The Division of University Operations supports the University in the achievement of its core objectives in learning, teaching and research by providing enabling services and effective resources. The division's priorities have evolved from the University's 10 year strategic plan, the Beacon of Enlightenment, with key projects centred around people, community, assets and infrastructure and processes.

    The Infrastructure branch is a part of the Division of University Operations, which supports the University in the achievement of its core objectives in learning, teaching and research by providing enabling services and effective resources. The branch manages the University's significant property portfolio (leased and owned) and built environment through planning, project management and maintenance services.

    The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for delivering data analysis and reporting across all areas of the Infrastructure Branch for planning, institutional and compliance reporting. The position provides high quality information, reports, analysis, methodologies, documentation and advice. Key to the role is the ability to effectively and efficiently determine and respond to business requirements and develop appropriate business solutions.

    The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis and reporting in large complex, organisations and dealing with senior business leaders as well as representatives of government and industry.

    Salary: (HEO9) $111,077 to $118,862 per annum.

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of 17% applies.

    Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately.

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have: 

    • Extensive experience in data systems analysis and reporting, particularly relating to space
    • Demonstrated experience in disruptive data science techniques
    • Experience in integrating data from complex and varied sources
    • Proven capability to provide well researched, high quality, accurate and timely reports, data and documentation
    • Demonstrated high level engagement within organisations to understand and align data systems and needs with the business direction and market trends
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the team and with University leaders, representatives of government, business and industry.
