The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to appoint four new Lecturers / Senior Lecturers in the following subject areas: 1) Animal Behaviour and Global Change; 2) Ecology, Ecosystems and Environmental Change; 3) Evolutionary Biology and 4) Mechanisms of Behaviour / Neuroethology.

These new appointments represent an exciting opportunity to join one the UK’s leading departments for research, education and innovation in Biological Science. The key strength of the School’s research base is the international leading expertise we possess in a wide range of biological disciplines, from genomics and cell biology, through whole organism and evolutionary biology, to population biology and ecosystem ecology. In 2014, the School moved into the state-of-the-art Life Sciences Building, and this provides extensive laboratory and working facilities. In August 2018, the School will become a core component of the new Faculty of Life Sciences, driving a new era of interdisciplinary research opportunities.
