Senior Software Engineer/Consultant/Algorithm Development - Swiss Med Tech - German/English languages
This is an exciting position working with a Swiss startup analyzing preclinical data, developing software for Diagnosis and Therapy delivery, and advising on Quality/Compliance requirements necessary for the Medical Devices market.
Based in the German speaking area of Switzerland, our client is a young company with a small R&D team focused on getting their exciting product to market. It's state of the art, it's fast moving, and with potential for huge impact on diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The need right now is for a Software developer with enough seniority in Medical Devices (software) product development to advise on Quality Compliance (Design Control) requirements during development (ISO 13485, IEC 62304). Also to be directly involved in exploratory data mining and post-hoc data analyses of clinical and non-clinical datasets and algorithm development for product implementation.
We'd expect a background in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering with Medical Devices industry experience (V&V), working knowledge of C, object-oriented programming (Java, C++) and scripting languages (Python, PERL or Shell), iterative software design processes and development practices including agile and test-driven development, some statistical experience, and good working knowledge of IEC 60601 and familiarity with IEC 62304.
Business level German and English both required for this role,
