GLP Study Director - mentor 3 other Study Directors

Our client is a leading life sciences organisation focused on providing its clients the leading research and drug discovery services across Europe. They service the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and chemical sector providing a broad range of target market for its services. Subsequently, they seek a GLP Study Director to mentor and manage the 3 newly hired study directors.

Your responsibilities will be linkedin to managing GLP analytical studies, which might include method development and validation phases plus test item analysis. You will be exposed to a variety of analytical techniques - chromatographic, elemental, solid state and physicochemical / wet chemistry methods. Such studies may be applied to a wide range of test items (substances, compounds, formulations, investigational or commercial products, raw materials) submitted by sponsors from the Life Sciences and broader chemical industries.

A central part of this position is to conduct and report GLP study specific duties. Ideally within a physchem setting. You will coordinate different studies and liaise with sponsors.

In addition you will act as Study Director / Principal Scientist for studies / phases to which you are appointed.

Qualifications/Role Requirements:

BSc or higher in an analytical, chemical or related scientific field with demonstrated, relevant experience.
Previous experience of GLP Study Director for regulatory (GLP) studies in an analytical setting is strongly preferred.
Experience of working in a regulated environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Broad practical experience in developing and validating analytical methods.
Experienced in the use of complex analytical instrumentation and the interpretation of analytical data.
Any physcham experience will be welcomed.
