Technician - Technical laboratory assistant

The main task of the technical laboratory assistant will be conducting works leading to implementation of the laboratory accreditation according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard (the post of quality proxy), as well as taking care about the laboratory equipment, technical assistance i.a. at protein expression and purification, preparation of samples, maintaining order in the laboratory, and administrative tasks, e.g. purchasing, chemical waste monitoring etc.

Profile of candidate:
1. MSc university degree in one of the following disciplines: molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, biophysics, or related,
2. Experience in purification of proteins and/or chemical compounds by means of chromatograpic methods (master thesis or internship in a laboratory),
3. Team working and communication skills,
4. Organization skills (secretary tasks),
5. English skills enabling reading of scientific papers,
6. Proficiency in Polish language,
7. Knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard will be highly appreciated.
 
Research Profile: First Stage Researcher (R1)/Technician
Salary: 3000 PLN per month gross + bonus according to the Institute's statute
