IMDEA Materials seeks a full-time Post doctoral researcher with a priority to candidates with experience in i) bio-materials based on bio-degradable polymers and ii) photophysics of fluorescent proteins.
 
We are looking for an individual with initiative and motivation to further develop her/his career in a new and dynamic research group. The research activities will be focused on the study of the development of polymer based coatings used to stabilize fluorescent proteins for lighting purposes.

The candidate will acquire a mature knowledge on handling of bio-compounds, spectroscopic, rheology, and microscopic techniques, as well as the fabrication and characterization of lighting devices.

Full time contract including social security coverage. Salary depending on previous experience and credentials.
