Job Details
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for providing support to the team in Office of the Registrar and for collecting, interpreting and analyzing data sets and data bases. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for performing tasks assigned for the AKU Registrar Office Student Systems.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports;
- Collecting data from primary and secondary data sources and maintaining database/data systems on a regular pre-defined basis
- Working closely with members in the Office of the Registrar to review and assess information needs
- Providing support to the team in Office of the registrar, working with data bases and managing the AKU Registrar Office Student Systems.
Requirements
You should have:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or Information management
- Adequate experience of working as a data analyst
- Prior experience of working with PeopleSoft Campus Solution or similar systems would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of statistics and experience with using statistical packages for analyzing large data sets (excel, SPSS, etc.)
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to write reports and present findings.
