ITS also operates research computing infrastructure and hosts many of the University’s largest servers.

The role

The role of Software Asset Management Administrator is to be a key project team member responsible for enhancing UQ’s current software and hardware asset management data, and implementing improved software asset management governance and processes across UQ. During the project term, this role will also be responsible for administering the University’s IT asset management tool (Flexera FlexNet Manager). This role supports and operates under the guidance of the Licensing Specialist / Project Manager assigned to the project.

 

The person

Applicants should possess qualifications in relevant disciplines. You should also have experience in software asset management, knowledge of  Flexera FlexNet Manager and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with and influence stakeholders.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207.07 - $79,964.50 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $81,256.74 - $87,561.13 p.a.).
