Chief Medical Officer - Sweden
If you are looking for a challenging position and you worked with clinical development and operations, at an international level as a Director or above, then you might be the next Chief Medical Officer of our Swedish based clinical stage Biotech company!
Not only will you be the Top Dog, but you can also work from home or at our Swedish office as the company expands clinical operations in the Eu and USA, so you can focus on building an international network in the Oncology field as the company grows to become a key player in the field.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide medical and scientific support to the management team with your deep medical expertise in oncology and contribute to the overall strategy development of the company.
- Develop the strategy for the clinical development (CDP)
- Provide key inside to the Discovery Research and Early Development activities as the company moves into clinical stages.
- Establish relationships with KOL's and principal investigators as you build medical Advisory Boards with KOL and other organisations.
- Oversee clinical trials as the medical expert and build a Clinical operational team as the company progress in the clinical phases.
- Contribute to the development of regulatory strategy and act as the medical expert in meetings with regulatory authorities.
Experience and qualifications
- Medical Degree
- +10 years Clinical operational and development together with deep understanding of the oncology sector
- Previous experience in preclinical and early/late clinical development setting.
- Experience with regulatory activities in US and EU
- Fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish.
Other
The position as CMO is a can be part-time employment or contracted as a consultant, approximately 50%, (2-3 days/week) and also involves travelling to e.g. meetings with researchers, KOLs, congresses and partners.
