Do you want to use your knowledge and experience to successfully plan and deliver a busy schedule of student, alumni, corporate engagement and online events?
We are looking for an events professional who will be instrumental in the delivery of different types of events for alumni, students and academics, taking place in the UK, across the globe and online.Working with the Senior External Communications Manager, you will deliver the end-to-end event process from venue and supplier sourcing, to promotion and communications, as well as operational support. You will also be involved in commissioning design, photography, web editing, social media and other digital marketing duties.You will have some experience of planning and delivering events. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have excellent planning skills, be self-directing, with an enthusiastic and proactive approach and the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with experience of manipulating and maintaining databases. The nature of the role means that there will be a requirement for occasional weekend and evening working in the UK.You will work as part of the Marketing, Events and Alumni Team in the Faculty of Business, as part of the marketing team that supports business, law, social sciences and education portfolios.
