Housing Manager - Compliance and Logistics

The Housing Manager - Compliance and Logistics is an important part of the Assistant Chief Executive Housing’s senior team taking first line responsibility for a number of vital operational and health and safety matters including:

• being the central point for ensuring important health and safety routines relating to the Unipol’s property portfolio and its offices are followed
• coordinating and taking decisions relating to the letting and operation of Unipol’s family housing
• the deployment and training of security staff and general out of hours cover
• matters relating to the housing management service for private owners
• overseeing and planning the complex logistics involved over the main tenancy change round period between June and September each year

You will be a key part of the housing team and will work closely with the Housing Manager - Operations and the Assistant Chief Executive - Housing to ensure that the charity’s properties are safe, sound and meet rising customer expectations.

The post is based in Leeds and may entail the occasional visit to both the Bradford and Nottingham offices. (Car parking in Leeds is provided free of charge).You will be required to attend some evening meetings and, at certain times of the year, to work at anti-social hours, including certain weekends and bank holidays (as are all Unipol staff).All those working in Unipol are employed jointly by the University of Leeds.Interviews expected to be held w/c 8 May 2018
