Regulatory Manager - Cosmetics - put your own stamp.
Our client is a small to medium sized company with a core and niche products within cosmetics. Having established a successful business and with a turnover close to 30 million, they are expanding rapidly with success. The department head has a strong regulatory background but is looking for to hand off her regulatory responsibilities.
As a Regulatory manager you will take full lead and responsibilities for the department helping to shape strategy and make your own mark. This is a hands on position where you Will be involved in liaison with the regulatory authorities.
You will
* Ensure full compliance with relevant global regulations, specifically Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009.
* Gather, evaluate, organise, manage and collate information in a variety of formats to produce CPSR's, INCI lists, MSDS's, compliance certificates.
*Compile Product Information Files (PIFs) and ensure compliance.
* Check and approve artwork.
* Input information and register products onto the CPNP.
* Confidentiality Agreements with external clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
*Must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology or Cosmetic Science along with extensive experience within the cosmetics industry.
*Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009 to ensure maintenance of fully compliant products.
* Experience with the CPNP and the requirements of a PIF. GMP - ISO 22716:2007 knowledge and REACH knowledge will be needed.
It would be a bonus if you have the following:
* Global cosmetic regulations.
* ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management).
* ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems).
* Food Supplement requirements.
* HFMA (Health Food Manufacturers Association).
