    The Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences is one of five faculties at the University of Adelaide. It is a centre for learning, teaching and research in a vast range of engineering disciplines, computer science and high level mathematics. The faculty offers an intellectually exciting and innovative environment in which to work, within seven Schools. This role is working within the Marketing, Engagement and Recruitment Team.

    The Marketing, Engagement and Recruitment team develops, implements and manages a range of Marketing, Engagement and Recruitment platforms fed by market intelligence to expand the reach, influence and impact of education and research offerings in the local and global community. We aim to be regarded as the education and research institute of choice, with our graduates and staff known for their quality attributes and expertise which is sought after by Industry and government.

    Do you have a flair for digital communications, love writing and developing content for a variety of online platforms? We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Officer to join our collaborative team! You will be responsible for the delivery of social media, website and other digital content; copywriting and editing; analytics and reporting. You will play an important role building stakeholder relationships, prioritising tasks and providing excellent customer service to address local faculty requirements. This role has a specific focus on developing high quality digital outputs to showcase our Faculty’s offerings creating impact and awareness in the community.

     

    Salary:

    (HE05) $69,262 - $77,057 per annum.

     

    Superannuation:

    An employer contribution of 9.5% applies / 17% may apply.

     

    Term of position:

    This fixed-term contract is available immediately until 21 December 2018

     

    Position requirements:

    To be successful you should have:

     

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Demonstrated experience in audio visual, photography and digital content development, production and distribution
    • Experience with the creation of content for digital platforms such as website and social media; and website content management
    • Demonstrated experience in communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client-centric results
    • Experience in planning and organising work and evaluating, interpreting and delivering advice in relation to standard policies and procedures
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to achieve required outcomes
    • Knowledge of marketing / communications theory and experience in the implementation of digital communications activities within Education, Higher Education or University sectors is desirable.

     

    Qualification/s:

    • Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience, or
    • An equivalent combination of relevant experienced and/or education/training.
