Job Details
My client is a midsized chemical plant, where you will be the go the SHEQ person. This means that you will have a lot of autonomy to make decisions and to actually shape the future of this position. Being the go to Sheq coordinator, means that you will be responsible for a variety of environmental, safety and health related issues in the plant. This gives you a position with many different responsibilities and enough variety in your day to day tasks.
Apart from not being micromanaged, you will also be supported in getting your Environmental Coordinator A, or prevention Advisor 2 Certificate. This will allow you to expand your skill-set and become more experienced in the field. That fact that the company will support you into getting this certificate, show that they are taking EHS very seriously and that you will be supported by senior management.
To be successful:
* Ideally you have and Environmental Coordinator A and Prevention Advisor 2 certificate. However candidates having on of the 2, could also be considered
* Good communications skills, allowing you to speak with all relevant stake holders
* Knowledge about the chemical industry is a good plus
* Speaking Dutch and English
* Living close to Temse or willing to relocate
