Lab Manager - Innovative biotech company - Copenhagen

Founded in 2012 and located in Copenhagen, Denmark, my client is a thriving biotech startup company, dedicated to deliver sustainable production processes for natural ingredients. Using proprietary technologies based on bioengineering and synthetic biology, they accelerate the development of microbial cell factories to a level previously unattainable. This type of research is very rare in Europe.

You as a suitable candidate should have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in science or related discipline
* Previous experience as a laboratory technician is preferable
* Familiar with Danish rules for laboratory risk assessment and GMO classification
* Experience in maintaining analytical equipment like HPLCs and LC-MS.

In exchange for that, you will be joining a start-up company that's breaking through in the way of research. My client is not only innovative, they are also smart. This led to them winning 15 awards, one of which was the EU-award for innovation in biotech. They are well aware of, to compete with already existing biotech companies, they not only have to work hard, but smart as well. Without having a product on the market, this tells most of the story.
