Data Protection Officer - Urgent

I am currently working with a leading charity in the UK; they are looking for a Data Protection officer to join their well-established organisation.

This position will be on the permanent basis and full time. A competitive salary will be offered to successful candidate.
You will be responsible for the development of data protection and information security strategy throughout the organisation to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

The Requirements:

 In-depth knowledge of the compliance regulations in the UK and EU
 Practical and demonstrable achievement in linking information and data protection strategies
 Hold or be working towards a professional qualification
 Degree level of education in a relevant subject
