One of FEIT’s six Schools, the School of Electrical and Data Engineering is internationally recognised for its research and as one of Australia’s most industry-focused teaching and learning program providers in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Data Engineering and Information Technology (IT).

The School is now seeking to appoint a new Head of Discipline of Electrical Power and Energy Systems. The Head of Discipline will provide academic, research and professional leadership, develop and lead research and industry engagement activities, and shape teaching in the Discipline of Electrical Power and Energy Systems at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Along with demonstrated academic standing in a field relevant to the Discipline, the successful candidate will bring a commitment to quality and innovation in teaching and learning and the ability to engage with industry and other partners. Candidates will need to have strong interpersonal communication skills and passion to operate effectively as a member of a collaborative team in a highly dynamic environment.
